In Seasonal Yoga, Autumn is the season when nature is slowing down. The days become shorter than the nights, and while there can be bright sunshine, autumn can often be foggy and grey, as transmutation takes place.

Nature is setting her example by slowly shedding her leaves, her freshness and the earth gathering inward, letting go for winter. Now is the time to embrace a slower, quieter pace of life, a time to bring things to conclusion, and let go of anything that you’ve been holding onto that is no longer serving you.
